WELCOME TO UTE CIVILTECH 2026

 

The Sixth Conference on UTE CivilTech (UTE CivilTech 2026) will be held on 26-27th November 2026 in the economic heart of Vietnam and the main hub of the Southern region. The conference will be hosted by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering (HCM-UTE), Vietnam.

 

 UTE CivilTech 2026 aims to provide an international forum for academicians, researchers, and practitioners in civil engineering and related fields to exchange knowledge, share research findings, and foster collaboration and partnerships.

 

Conference Theme and Topics

 

Conference theme:

 

Technology and Science in Civil Engineering for Sustainable Development

 

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

 

(1) Advancements in Structural Analysis and Design: Computational mechanics; Applications of Artificial Intelligence; Analytical and design methods; Modelling and simulation; Structural and solid mechanics; Steel structures; Structural and solid mechanics; Structural dynamics; Advanced and complex structures such as plates & shells; 3D-printed.

 

(2) Innovations in Materials Science and Engineering in Construction: Novel construction materials; Advanced and innovative concrete technology; Composite materials and structures; Nanotechnology and civil engineering.

 

(3) Advancements in Foundation and Geotechnical Engineering: Numerical Methods in Geotechnical Engineering; Geotechnical Aspects of Underground Construction; Soil stabilization and improvement techniques; Soil-structure interaction; Geotechnics for Sustainable Infrastructure Development.

 

(4) Transportation Engineering: Innovations and technologies in transport infrastructure; Challenges, best practices, and planning in transport projects; Sustainability, resilience, and safety in transportation infrastructure.

 

(5) Smart Infrastructure Systems and Construction Management: Infrastructure systems; Structural health monitoring; Modern construction management; Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Digital Twin; Big data analytics in construction and infrastructure management.

 

(6) Green Construction Economy: Net-zero and green building; Construction waste management; Sustainable practices in construction.

 

(7) Emerging Directions in Architecture and Interior Design: Sustainable Futures in Architecture and Interior Design; Designing for Health and Well-Being; Heritage, Identity, and Contemporary Practice; Inclusive Design and Social Responsibilit.

 

(8) Mechanical Engineering: Mechanical behaviour, Fluid Dynamics Computation (CFD), thermodynamics, machine design, materials science, and control systems. 

 

Submission Guidelines

 

All submissions must be in English. Submitted papers must be original and not published elsewhere or intended to be published during the review period. The overall similarity index and single source similarity index should not be more than 30% and 10%, respectively. The papers are to be submitted electronically in PDF format via the CMT submission link (will be coming shortly).
